Announcing: Green House Poetry Prize 2017 Winner & Finalists

Green House Press is thrilled to announce the finalists and winner of the 2017 Green House Poetry Prize, awarding publication in the online literary journal Orange Quarterly, a featured interview on the Green House Blog, and $100 cash to a new, emerging, or established poet for a single poem.

Congratulations to Mike Zhai, winner of the inaugural Green House Poetry Prize for “Love Poem,” which will be featured alongside a brief interview in the revival issue of Orange Quarterly, due out October 31.

Congrats, too, to the 2017 Green House Poetry Prize finalists, Julia Bohm (for “Good Morning”), Keith Mark Gaboury (for “City Brain”), and Adrianna Sage O’Brien (for “Inquiry”), whose poems will also be published in Orange Quarterly‘s revival issue.

Thank you to all who submitted for sharing your work with Green House Press! We look forward to our next round of Poetry Prize submissions open throughout National Poetry Month starting April 1, 2018.

Read the 2017 finalists’ and winner’s poems in the revival issue of Orange Quarterly, coming this Halloween from Green House Press!
